Étretat is a landscape that refuses to be background. The white chalk cliffs, the pewter sea, the vertical drama of this stretch of Normandy coastline has always understood scale. And yet the most extraordinary architecture that morning was not geological. It was human.
Marie descended the red staircase of the Palais Bénédictine in a gown by Sima Couture Paris — structured, restrained, luminous. Not a dress designed to compete with the place. A dress designed to belong to it. There is a difference, and it is the difference between photography that documents and photography that endures.
Between Two Heritages, a Single Ceremony
Multicultural weddings carry a particular emotional charge. The families arrive from different traditions, different languages, different rituals — and somewhere between those differences, something unexpected happens. The room fills with a warmth that more homogeneous celebrations rarely produce. You feel it before you see it.

Étretat refuse de n'être qu'un décor. Les falaises de craie blanche, la mer d'étain, la verticalité dramatique de ce bout de Normandie — ce littoral a toujours eu le sens de la mesure. Et pourtant l'architecture la plus extraordinaire de cette journée n'était pas géologique. Elle était humaine.
